8 top tips to get the last 5 kilos off

Hi Friends, so glad you’re here!

Many women find it hard to drop the last few kilos even though they believe they are doing all the right things. BUT IF YOU’RE NOT LOSING WEIGHT THEN ❌ YOU ARE NOT IN A CALORIE DEFICIT ❌ Below are my 8 top tips to help you stay within your calorie budget & get those last kg’s off 👇 1 TRACK YOUR INTAKE: Use a food diary or a calorie-tracking app to monitor your daily food and beverage consumption. This helps you become aware of your eating habits and identify areas where you may be consuming excess calories. 2 PORTION CONTROL: Be mindful of portion sizes. Use measuring cups, a food scale, or visual cues to estimate appropriate portions. Avoid eating directly from large containers, as it can lead to mindless overeating. 3 READ NUTRITION LABELS: Pay attention to the serving size and the calorie content of packaged foods. 4 CHOOSE NUTRIENT-DENSE FOODS: Opt for foods that provide essential nutrients while being relatively low in calories. Include plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats in your diet. These foods are generally more filling and can help you stay satisfied with fewer calories. 5 BE MINDFUL OF LIQUID CALORIES: Be aware of the calorie content in beverages, including sodas, sweetened juices, energy drinks, and alcoholic beverages. Opt for water, unsweetened tea, or other low-calorie options instead. 6 COOK AND PREPARE MEALS AT HOME: By cooking your own meals, you have better control over the ingredients and portion sizes. It allows you to choose healthier cooking methods, such as grilling, baking, or steaming, rather than relying on fried or heavily processed foods, and you can limit the amount of oil you cook in which is high calorie when too much is used. 7 PRACTICE MINDFUL EATING: Slow down and savour each bite. Pay attention to your body's hunger and fullness cues. Eating slowly and mindfully can help prevent overeating and promote better digestion. 8 STAY HYDRATED: Sometimes, thirst can be mistaken for hunger. Ensure you're adequately hydrated throughout the day by drinking water regularly. This can help reduce unnecessary snacking and control calorie intake. It can seem difficult to drop the last the last few kg’s but YOU CAN DO IT!! Follow my for more tips on health fitness and wellbeing. Get moving & remember consistency is key!!
